Barcalounger - Poor Customer Seevice
After just six months the dye began wearing off where my head rests. Turns out Barca lounger licensed their name to a shotty manufacturer called True Innovations. All I wanted was for someone in Vietnam to put a jar of dye in a box and ship it to me so I can restore the furniture! They said they could not get me the dye! They suck!

Repair

I left a message with my issue. I have a BarcaLounger that says there is a lifetime warranty on the gears and working instruments. I cant lounge backwards without hitting the floor. It is impossible to get out of because it is too heavy to close the seat and footrest because there is no way to open the seat with gears that dont work. Power Recliner Lounge Chair

Can’t reach customer service

The Barcalounger Longhorn II has a seat pan that is far too deep/long for my female body with me ending up slouched in the chair putting debilitating strain on my back. A seat depth of 19 would be ideal for sitting upright or reclining. I paid close to $2000 for a chair thats uncomfortable.

Question on a stain problem

I own a Barcalounger double leather recliner. I am very satisfied with it. I have caused a stain on the leather from hairspray and perspiration. I wrote to Furniture Clinic and was told that I have removed the stain. Is there anything you can suggest I do to remedy this problem. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Hard to get parts

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. At first the furniture store gave us the same model chair.

They had the same problem, the back rest wouldn't stay in one position. Coincidentally, when we complained about the second pair of chairs the Barcalounger rep was at the store.

We were offered powered recliners as replacements, unfortunately we had to pay the difference. These recliners are the most uncomfortable recliner.The headrest doesn't sit right.Suffice it to say, I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER Barfalounger AGAIN.

Been several weeks since tech was out the 1st time. The warranty company said the tech said the chair was repaired, when, in fact he said the chair was unremarkable.

Same tech came out AGAIN took another look at the chair, said yes, I remember this chair, I told them it couldn't be repaired. He made ANOTHER report stating same thing. Still waiting to hear from SOMEBODY. I've been in touch with the store, they've been great, reaching out to the warranty company each time I've called.

We'll see what happens after the holiday. I will NEVER buy another Barfalounger AGAIN!

After one year all the leather began to flake off. Emailed them and was told it was only guaranteed for one year. We are two seniors who are also snowbirds. The chair was only in use 5 months a year. Have had Barcaloungers in the past and was very satisfied. Would never buy another. This was definitely not normal.

Still no furniture.They said it was at the warehouse waiting to get picked up. Two days ago I finally get an email saying it was picked up to give it 10 days.

The reason its a long wait period is because in 2019 Barcalounger filed BK and a Chinese Co. bought the brand so they are Made in China. I thought American Made also

Ordered motion Sofa, Loveseat and Recliner with 2 back-up battery packs in November for my new house. Today is 3/23/21and I STILL have not received the furniture or any upate.

V Watts Furniture (paid in full) emails them every few days to see if there is any update and doesn't get anywhere except excuses (waiting for sofa cushion/nails to make, inclement weather, etc...) and once they ship, it takes 2 weeks to get to V Watts. TWO weeks to Louisiana from TN! There is no number to call... only an email.

Barcalounger has some very nice furniture, but this is SO disappointing and frustrating. I just hope all this is worth the wait!

(The only positive is the extra battery packs has been received... though that's not doing any good!) I understand that we have had some unprecedented occurrences, but this is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Recliner purchased about 3 years ago. We are two senior citizens who spend 6 months each year out of state. The leather covering is peeling at all places where it rubs as it reclines and also on the arms and folds on the back. It is a mess and Im disgusted with how this chair is wearing. We have had Barcaloungers in the past that lasted for many years and gave us many years of great use.
